Pink Animal Crackers S1 0.1 Gram Feminized Pollen

$120.00

Mosca Seeds is proud to announce its first-ever pollen drop Friday, Mar 10, 2023 at 4:20 PM Eastern/1:20 PM Pacific!!!

Pink Animal Crackers (PAC) feminized pollen, an S1 reversal of the Pink Animal Crackers, is a cross of Animal Cookies x Pink 2.0. The PAC is an S1 Hybrid. The acronym S1 refers to the first filial generation produced as a result of crossing the plant with itself. This is achieved by a range of techniques aimed at reversing the sex of the selected female plant, getting it to produce male pollen, and using it to pollinate itself (see below). A plant crossed with itself produces seeds that retain its parent’s favorable characteristics.

The receiving female seeds will then have two XX chromosomes. The pollen contains only female, or X, chromosomes because the plant has no Y, or male, chromosomes. The progeny will inherit an X from the male flower’s pollen and an X from the egg-donor female flower. The resulting seeds can only inherit two X chromosomes, which means that almost all the resulting seeds will be “girls” or female plants.

The PAC mother is the legendary Animal Cookies, an Indica-dominant hybrid strain (75% indica/25% Sativa) created by crossing the infamous Girl Scout Cookies and Fire OG strains.

Pink 2.0 is a rare slightly Indica-dominant hybrid (60% Indica/40% Sativa) strain created by crossing the delicious Predator Pink with the infamous Starfighter F2 strain.

Pink Animal Crackers is known for passing on a unique gassy citrus berry-dense terpene profile that can be overpowering if smoked in higher quantities. S1 representations of the PAC used to make the pollen are present in DNA form. Resin can be seen in copious amounts on both the floral parts and leaves. The Selfing of the Pink Animal Crackers has proven to be a highly successful marriage of both indica and Sativa sides of the spectrum which creates a complex and cerebral experience while grounded with a heavy Indica foundation.

Pink Animal Crackers is also the pollen donor of Mosca Seeds’ feminized line of Vibe Shift, Shake & Bake, and the popular Pillow Talk!

The PAC pollen donor displayed an above-average height female that has dark green leaves with pinkish-purple coloration under her leaves. It is not unusual to have purple to green branches and stems.

The PAC flowering time is 58-63 days.

Each numbered pack will contain 0.1 grams of feminized pollen, along with a few grains of rice to keep the pollen dry. For reference, 0.1 of a gram of feminized pollen is enough to make anywhere between 500-1000 female seeds if applied strategically and efficiently (see below).

This drop will be a limited one-time release of 100 numbered 0.1g packs of feminized pollen for a total of 10 grams.

Mosca has also graciously included six free feminized “Vibe Shift” (Legend OG x Pink Animal Crackers) seeds with each PAC pollen pack purchased!

MOSCA SEEDS PROPRIETARY FEMALE REVERSAL PROCESS

Mosca Seeds has perfected the female pollen reversal process by trial and error over 5 years and by using the leading proprietary recipes of fellow breeders available on the market today. The reversal process unitized by Mosca Rick was created by Gerrit Slot of the Award Winning Magus Genetics Dutch Seed Company (now a part of Serious Seeds-  Amsterdam). This proprietary method was used and perfected over time by Mosca. The reversal process does take longer to develop a properly reversed female, and as a result, more stable female offspring.

POLLEN APPLICATION

Mosca Rick recommends using a Q-tip, a small artist’s brush, or even a pastry bread bag to apply your pollen. Be very careful when applying the pollen as the microscopic grains can float easily into the air and can pollinate any females in the immediate area. If you are selecting one female to pollinate, Mosca suggests separating her from your other females in a different room to apply the pollen there.

The Q-Tip or paint brush can be dipped into the microtube and then brushed onto the receiving female floral parts, more specifically, the pistils. The feminized pollen can be applied to the desired female and then either the remaining pollen stored back into your refrigerator or disposed of if your microtube is empty.

The pastry bread bag method of pollen application is used if a specific branch of female branch pollination is desired. You can tap some pollen grains into the pastry bag and then carefully slide the bag over the branch to be pollinated. Be sure to apply a twisty tie over the end of the bag to ensure no pollen is released onto the rest of the plant. Once you have sealed the end of the bag with the twisty, you can shake the pastry bread bag up and down and right to the left, which will help disperse the pollen along the female branch floral parts.

STORAGE

Pollen should be stored in your refrigerator and not in your freezer. Mosca Seeds does not recommend freezing pollen as this could lead to clumping due to moisture killing the viable pollen. Keep the few grains of rice in your pollen to absorb any moisture in the microtube.

Pollen can last up to six months if stored properly.
