The Pink Rose is a cross between two legendary strains from two unsung heros of the cannabis genetic world. The mother of the Pink Rose is Heath Robinson’s Black Rose #3, and true to her name the Black Rose often finishes so dark violet purple that she regularly appears almost black. It’s a sight to behold and can be seen, along with all of Jd Short’s work by following @secondgenerationgenetics on Instagram. The lore and lineage of the Black Rose is that it’s a cross between Black Russian and Purple Shiva Skunk.

The father of the Pink Rose is referred to as Sacajawea and contains Skunk #1 Blue Magoo, Williams Wonder and Dj Short’s Blueberry just to name a few. The Sacajawea stock carries heavy purpling, skunk and yeast like aromas and euphoria and sedation through it’s true breeding attributes to it’s progeny. The Sacajawea was created by the legendary Suny Cheba.

The Pink Rose lives up to it’s name and produces absolutely spectacular pink and pungently delicious rosette flowers covered in resin from the bottom of the stalk to the top of the canopy. As well the terpenes are out of this world unique and potent. The Pink Rose smells like sweet and tangy tropical fruit, raspberries and a gentle sulfury musk.

Multiple males from the Pink Rose stock exhibited standing trichome development along the edges of the sugar and fan leaves. The Pink Rose males also produced heavy pinkish/purpling by week 3 in flower. Several of the nicest male specimens were segregated and pollen was collected to offer publicly.

Jd has been assembling the pieces of this cross for nearly two years. Parents of the Pink Rose were not kept so the Pink Rose stock will not be reproduced nor released publicly except possibly in clone form only. The male pictured is from day 18 in flower and is in a 1 gallon pot under a 150 watt light for perspective. He was allowed to flower out for approximately 8 more days before be began getting dusted hard for pollen and beaten to death, so these are the best representative pictures of him.
